It is <strong><em>Anders Reinertsen Lia\u00f8y<\/em><\/strong> from Norway.<\/p>\n<p>Among a wide range of entries, Anders and his team stood out with their comprehensive and technically robust approach to reducing CO\u2082 emissions in the built environment. The project demonstrates a strong integration of engineering expertise, stakeholder collaboration, and new technologies to tackle climate challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Winners in the following excellence categories are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Digital &amp; New Technologies<\/em> &#8211; Simona Corrado (Italy) who has developed a system, utilizing AI to ensure the safety and continuity of drinking water supply.<\/li>\n<li><em>Impact on Climate &amp; Biodiversity<\/em> \u2013 Mara Franchi (Italy) with a large-scale river restoration initiative.
