{"id":12359,"date":"2026-04-02T16:31:35","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T13:31:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iceg.com.ua\/?p=12359"},"modified":"2026-04-03T15:05:49","modified_gmt":"2026-04-03T12:05:49","slug":"iceg-and-knuca-synergy-of-science-and-practice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iceg.com.ua\/en\/news-en\/iceg-and-knuca-synergy-of-science-and-practice\/","title":{"rendered":"ICEG and KNUCA: synergy of science and practice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild and Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/100063467863966\/posts\/pfbid099CmeV1fgEoJ14CYJM6g2jxRH1q6Rd5UezHfgQ9bbTvtgKmTB2PS3y8nWyXqSbL2l\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KNUCA<\/a>) have signed the memorandum of scientific cooperation as a logical continuation of the current <a href=\"https:\/\/iceg.com.ua\/news\/knuba-ta-mgik-domovilis-pro-spivpratsyu-u-sferi-osviti\/\">Memorandum of Understanding<\/a> and a significant step toward the integration of education, science, and practice in the field of construction.<\/p>\n<p>A pivotal area of cooperation is development of the joint lab Smart Contract Hub KNUCA established at the KNUCA\u2019s Construction Economics Department. The lab is a state-of-the-art platform for:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u00a0project management research;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u00a0digitalization of construction (BIM technologies, data driven solutions);<\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u00a0expert support of the infrastructure recovery;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u00a0risk management and project cost engineering;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u00a0elaboration of syllabuses and upskilling programs;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u00a0internship of the academic staff and stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>Partnership with a leading sectoral university means not only theory but also the formation of new approaches to developing the service and profession of the consulting engineer in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>The cooperation will be focused on training of competitive economists and builders who will have mastered the basics of consulting engineering services and use of globally recognized contract forms (primarily, FIDIC contracts), etc. as early as during their study.
