Earlier this week the representatives of the State Road Agency of Ukraine<\/a><\/strong>, State Enterprise “Ukrdorinvest<\/a><\/strong>” held preliminary talks with a consortium consisting of the Turkish company “Temelsu<\/a><\/strong>” and the Ukrainian company “FBM Ukraine<\/a><\/strong>“, which is the winner of the competition to determine the performer for the provision of engineering consulting services during the implementation of construction works Highway M-03 Kyiv \u2013 Kharkiv \u2013 Dovzhansky<\/span>y road on selected sections <\/span>Lubny \u2013 Poltava<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The Parties discussed aspects of the project implementation and terms of the future contract.<\/p>\n

As stated during the negotiations by Ms. Olena Kryvoruchko<\/a><\/strong>, the Chair Person, Director of SE “Ukrdorinvest”, the domestic road industry strives to learn the best global business practices and standards in the field of road construction, where the main components are the quality of work execution, performance guarantees and responsibility of organizations involved in project implementation.<\/p>\n

In turn, Mr. Alper Akansel, Temelsu General Director, highlighted that the company headed by him has considerable experience in implementation of relevant projects in over 15 countries, in particular those with the use of FIDIC standard forms of contract.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that Temelsu is the first Turkish company to be involved in consulting engineering support of such project in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The Turkish representatives indicated that they were impressed with the youth, professionalism and knowledge of the representatives of the Ukrainian party \u2013 the Clients of the project implementation. In their opinion, it is due to the reforms taking place in Ukraine and determining involvement of young professionals who are unbiased by outdated approaches to the process management.<\/p>\n

The negotiations were held in a constructive way.<\/p>\n
