V4 for Ukraine<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

According<\/span> to the <\/span>State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/a> <\/b>(SAEEESU) on February 25, 2016 in Lviv was hold the conference “Visegrad for Ukraine: increasing energy efficiency. Lessons and best practices”, organized within cooperation of the Visegrad Group and Ukraine.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Representatives of foreign offices in Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary with Ukrainian officials discussed the political and economic situation, implementation of reforms and focused on the topic of energy efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ukrainian side presented to the conference participants the State Program of Thermo Buildings designed SAEEESU, ESCO mechanisms, National Action Plans on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency by 2020, legislative developments in renewable energy.<\/span><\/p>\n

In their turn the Visegrad Group\u2019s representatives assured that they are ready to continue to promote the exchange of experience with Ukrainian partners in these fields.<\/span> In particular, to assist in the implementation of relevant EU legislation, to introduce the best examples of successful projects in the field of energy in V4 countries and to support other reforms within the framework of the Association Agreement with the EU.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The practical continuation of the Lviv Conference was a Ukrainian-Slovak roundtable discussions “Promoting energy efficiency in Ukraine: Best Slovakia practices”, was hold on February 26.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the event, Slovak experts shared their experiences and presented their completed projects, including thermo houses, District Heating, street lighting and others.<\/span> They also expressed concern about possible activities on the Ukrainian market.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Representatives of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association announced their intention to hold energy efficiency trainings in Slovakia for Ukrainian specialists.<\/span><\/p>\n

Be recalled that in September 2015 signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on Efficiency, Saving and Renewable Energy between State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine and Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA).<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
