Consequently, studying and introducing the European approaches to preservation and protection of the environment is one of the burning areas of activities for the Ukrainian engineering community.<\/p>\n<p>The European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.efcanet.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>EFCA<\/u><\/a>), where ICEG is an active member, keeps the environmental matters on the agenda all of the time.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, the journal BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEERING has published an article by Sue Arundale, EFCA Director General, called \u201cTackling water resilience in Europe \u2013 the practical and the political.\u201d The article highlights EFCA\u2019s priorities and vision of the consulting engineers function, that have solutions to some of the gravest problems, as well as a range of political risks and challenges in the way of adopting the harmonized European solutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWithout wishing to make readers depressed, the consequences of not taking action are unthinkable and the time is now \u2013 as soon as the post-election shuffling of people and positions has finished.
