Representatives of the Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild took part in the information session \u201cCall for Expressions of Interest from the EU-based businesses: Leveraging private investments for Ukraine\u2019s recovery\u201d that was held at the end of last year under the auspices of the European Commission.<\/p>\n
The event focused on mobilizing foreign direct Investment for Ukraine\u2019s recovery, reconstruction and integration into the EU Single Market. The target audience was business associations, business support organizations, officials from the EU member states’ governments, trade and investment promotion agencies from the EU and Ukraine representing private sector interested in investing into Ukraine\u2019s recovery and reconstruction.<\/p>\n
The session\u2019s participants emphasized an important role of private equity in stimulating the economic growth in Ukraine and a greater attention to small investment project, outlines the key sectors of economy that require direct foreign investments, discussed the issues of guarantees and wartime risk mitigation.<\/p>\n
Representatives of the International Finance Corporation, EBRD, EIB, Czech-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and other organizations presented their views and plans of contribution in Ukraine\u2019s recovery.<\/p>\n
The event\u2019s attendees were confident that the business would not wait for the war to end as reconstruction of Ukraine means a great number of opportunities.<\/p>\n
