On the sidelines of Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdansk, Oleksandr Nepomnyashchyy, President of the Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild, had a working meeting with Serhii Sukhomlyn, Head of the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development of Ukraine.

The parties discussed relevant issues of implementing the reconstruction projects, developing modern approaches to infrastructure project management, and prospects of further interaction between public contracting authorities and professional engineering consulting community.

Particular attention was given to enhancing the efficiency of project implementation, introduction of international administration practices, development of professional competencies, and fostering the cooperation between governmental institutions and professional organizations.

The meeting participants pointed out the significance of professional dialog between public authorities and expert environment, especially in view of the large-scale reconstruction of Ukraine.

The Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild reiterated its readiness to continue engaging in the professional discussion of the industry development, sharing the international experience, and supporting the initiatives targeted at improving the quality of infrastructure project delivery.
