May 13, 2022

The state and professional community are actively involved in inspecting the buildings and facilities damaged and destroyed during the war. It is an initial stage of reconstruction, which is necessary to determine whether the facilities can operated further, renovated or should be demounted.

At present, a few teams have been formed, some of them with the help of the Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild, which include dedicated specialists and experts with relevant qualification.

A damaged facility in Kyiv is inspected under the guidance of

chairman of the professional ethics commission in the ICEG

Let us remind you that during the martial law and for 90 calendar days after it is lifted, besides certified inspectors, the inspection  can also be conducted by:

  • construction verifier of “Senior” or “Category I” qualification level, who has a qualification certificate with specialty “verification of design documents in the sector of mechanical resistance and stability;”
  • consulting engineer (construction) of “Senior” or “Category I” qualification level.
