On the initiative of Oleksandr Nepomnyashchyy, president of the Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild, ICEG held an online conference with representatives of the Polish Consulting Engineers and Experts Association (SIDIR) – Tomasz Latawiec, chairman of the board, and Marcin Mikulewicz, vice president.

First of all, ICEG thanked SIDIR for supporting the initiative of strengthening our cooperation under the Memorandum of Understanding in the conditions of tough challenges our country is facing during the full-scale war of aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

The conference agenda included:

• Exchange of experience in surveying damaged buildings and structures (houses and social and critical infrastructure facilities) after major disasters and also survey approaches;
• Discussing initiatives and innovative technologies of building modular houses for internally displaced people on the territories of the Republic of Poland and Ukraine;
• SIDIR’s facilitation to employ Ukrainian engineers of various specialties and qualifications, who legally left Ukraine and are now based in Poland.

At present we are starting a much desired stage of recovery and should take over responsibility for these processes so that our country and its citizens can feel that their home is in our land.

The meeting resulted in a decision to deepen our collaboration in the above and other matters and keep in steady touch.
