On the initiative of Poland and Sweden, on May 5, Warsaw hosted an international donors conference arranged to raise funds for Ukraine due to the Russian invasion.
“Thank you for all the contributions, I have just received the final figure. I am very happy to announce that we have all been able to mobilize $6.5 billion. Thank you,” said Mateusz Morawiecki, prime minister of Poland, in his final speech.
“Ukraine is not only going to restore what the aggressor destroyed, but it is striving to build a new European country. Everyone can help build their own part of the Dream Country – future Ukraine. For this, we’ve established the Ukraine Recovery Fund,” said the Ukrainian prime minister after the conference.
Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild (ICEG) consolidated efforts of Ukrainian and foreign specialists whose expertise and contribution are needed to survey and restore the destroyed facilities and recover the country in general.
