As the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine reports, UAH 194.3 billion has been earmarked in 2025 to finance the education and science. Namely, a subvention amounting to UAH 960 million is envisaged for local budgets for comprehensive modernization of cafeteria (canteens) in educational institutions. These funds are going to be used for the public investment project to purchase equipment and modernize (reconstruct and overhaul) cafeteria (canteens) in educational institutions.

The Ministry had announced a design contest for the cafeteria modernization. Details of the contest conditions can be found in the announcement.

In addition to secondary schools of the communal form of property, special attentions is paid to military training institutions, in particular, naval and military athletic lyceums, and also lyceums with intensive military and physical training.

In pursuit of quality design development, the Ministry of Education and Science and Ministry of Communities and Territories Development jointly with the EU Anticorruption Initiative in Ukraine (EUACI) is holding a training forum dedicated to discussion of fey aspects of integrity while preparing the design documentation,

The event is scheduled for January 24, 2025, 10 a.m.

This training forum is targeted at representative of local executive authorities and local self-governments, as well as designers, architects, consulting engineers, and representatives of design organizations.
