Thursday, 26 October –  European Investment Bank held two meetings at its headquarters in Luxembourg with the delegation from the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA) and the European Federation of Management Consultancies Associations (FEACO), one of which was dedicated to Ukraine.

Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild was represented by Bakhtiyar Khodjaev, ICEG Vice President.

During the meeting, EIB officers from Loan, Technical Assistance, Framework Contracts and Direct Awards outside the EU provided an overview of EIB activity, role and organizations, External Aid policy by regions, including Ukraine and Moldova, procurement system (in particular for consulting services), environment and sustainability as priority in the operation of EIB.

The event took place thanks to continuous efforts and active exchange between EFCA, in particular EFCA European External Action Committee and Ukraine Support Group, and the European Commission.

For reference, Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild is a member of the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations since 2017, and advocating national community in engineering consultancy, is actively involved in activities held by EFCA, also on those issues related to the support of Ukraine during the war of aggression launched by Russia.

 Among those, a delegation from ICEG headed by Oleksandr Nepomnyashchyy, ICEG President, took part in the Annual International Conference hosted by EFCA and OICE, its national member association from Italy, back in May, where one of the sections was dedicated to Ukraine recovery.
