EFCA to Launch New-Look Newsletter

January 16, 2023

Back in December 2022 Sue Arundale, EFCA Director General announced in her email to ICEG: “I am pleased to inform you that we are almost ready to launch our new-look newsletter, which will be for our members and external contacts such as the EU institutions and other federations.”

In January the Newsletter was launched new-look as bi-weekly Engineering Europe.

Information about the Ukraine Support Group kick-off meeting held on 9 December 2022 is on the front page.

“The group has a diverse set of participants from EFCA member associations with different levels of knowledge and experience in post-conflict reconstruction in general – and in Ukraine in particular. During the kick-off meeting, as well as hearing from its Ukrainian and German member associations, the group clarified that its purpose is to act as an umbrella, co-ordinating European efforts in the consulting engineering sector; to understand who is doing what in the different countries, and be the main contact for the sector with European institutions. In order to achieve its goals, the group will maintain close contact with EU officials and coordinate its actions with other federations at European level, acting for the construction value chain’, reads the EFCA Newsletter.

Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild, representing interests of the national engineering community, has been actively involved in the events hosted by EFCA, particularly those related to the support of Ukraine under the Russian military aggression.
