The Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild has amended its Charter.

Being an independent professional union based on the principles of voluntarism, self-governance, transparency, and publicity, ICEG has been founded to promote the development and enhance the quality of the consulting engineering industry in Ukraine, improve the reputation of consulting engineers, facilitate the European integration of Ukraine and harmonize the domestic legislation with the EU law, promote ethical norms and principles of commercial integrity, satisfy and protect legal, economic, scientific, professional, employment, educational, and other interests of the union’s members.

ICEG is currently a member of the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA), represents interests of the professional community in national and international institutions, established partnerships with national associations and leading engineering companies of the world.

Revision of statutory documents is dictated by time. Constant changes in the legislation, new trends of digitalized activities using internet and videoconferences, and the tasks ICEG has set at annual meetings of members and partners have been stipulated in the updated Charter.

Previously, a new Regulation of the ICEG’s Scientific and Expert Board was approved. This is consulting and advisory collegiate body set up to provide professional consultations and motivated recommendations on engineering activities, which require professional expert support and collegiate review.
