The Office members discussed staffing that currently poses a serious challenge to manufacturers. The meeting participants talked about ways to tackle the shortage of qualified workers, development of human capital, professional training, reskilling, and effective deployment of the available specialists.
These issues are especially acute for the engineering, building, and industrial sectors. The future recovery of Ukraine is going to need a great number of well-prepared professionals able to work with complex projects, newest technologies, and international standards.
The discussion also focused on enhancing the work performance, developing professional competencies, and introducing modern approaches to staff training.
In partnership with KNUCA, ICEG has established and is implementing an educational project of the joint lab Smart Contract Hub KNUCA thus contributing to the development of the professional environment of consulting engineers and fostering efficient interaction between businesses, educational facilities, public authorities, and professional associations. Formation of the quality human resources reserve for the engineering sector is one of important prerequisites of resilient economy and successful recovery of Ukraine.
