On May 15-16, Parkovy Convention and Exhibition Center hosted the II Ukrainian Building Congress (UBC).
The agenda included discussion panels on the strategy and challenges of Ukraine recovery, changes in the urban development and sphere of influence on architectural solutions, analytics from LUN, master classes by big business figures, and reports of global financial and economic foundations and banks.
Subjects of the Congress:
- Strategies and challenges of Ukraine recovery: ways to economic and social development in 2024-2025;
- New approaches to construction in the war conditions;
- Legislation and State Building Norms;
- Veteran-run enterprises as a guarantee of social security;
- Barrier–free and inclusive environment: challenges of today;
- Incredible women of Ukraine;
- Industrial reconstruction as an important development driver of the Ukrainian economy;
- Simplifying the procedure of the land designated purpose alteration for the purpose of economic recovery;
- Governmental programs and instruments to resolve the housing issue;
- Prospects of resuming the housing construction.
The event brought together representatives of the authorities, leaders of Ukrainian companies, architects, urban planners, investors and developers. In total, the event had 4000 attendees including 1500+ professionals.
