A practice in gaining momentum in Ukraine to engage the consulting engineer in implementation of construction projects – an economic operator that employs specialists certified as “consulting engineers (construction)” and provides engineering consulting services under a contract with the client. Thus, in the course of their practical activities, members of the Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild sometimes come across the issues that require a profound scientific and juridical analysis.

In the framework of its statutory mandate to promote the development and enhancement of the quality of the engineering consulting industry in Ukraine, as well as satisfy and protect its members’ interests, ICEG has reached out to one of the leading legal opinion centers, Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, with a request to deliver scientific legal research into certain issues of engaging the consulting engineer in implementation of construction projects.
