Investment fund for Ukraine’s recovery launched on global stock exchange

March 19, 2026

The Ukraine Reconstruction ETF investment fund has been officially launched on one of the world’s largest stock exchanges. It was set up to support the long-term recovery of Ukraine and attract international private capital to finance the development projects.

The fund was established with the participation of the British investment company, HANetf, in cooperation with Ukrainian diplomatic institutions. Its primary goal is to accumulate funds from international investors and forward them into companies operating in the fields of critical infrastructure, energy, construction, industry reconstruction, and other key sectors of the Ukrainian economy.

A tool for attracting private capital

The Ukraine Reconstruction ETF has become the world’s first open-ended exchange-traded fund specifically dedicated to the recovery of Ukraine. Such a tool allows international investors investing in the country’s reconstruction through a transparent and understandable financial mechanism.

The creation of special investment funds is viewed as one of the ways to expand financial mechanisms of reconstruction support. They allow for the involvement of not only public and donor resources but also private capital of international investors.

ICEG points out that the emergence of special investment tools, such as the Ukraine Reconstruction ETF, indicates the formation of a distinct global investment trend related to the reconstruction of Ukraine. In fact, this is a new model for attracting the private capital, where international financial markets begin to work systematically with infrastructure recovery projects.

ICEG specialists note that traditionally, infrastructure is one of the key sectors for long-term investment. That is why the emergence of such financial instruments can create additional momentum for the modernization of transport systems, energy sector, and urban infrastructure in Ukraine.
