On May 29, 2025, within the framework of the signed Memorandum of Understanding, the Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild (ICEG) and the Polish Association of Designers and Engineers (ZOPI) held their first webinar in a series of meetings aimed at assisting Polish partners in gaining a deeper understanding of the Ukrainian market.
The event gathered 40 participants, among them are esteemed representatives dealing with Polish-Ukrainian cooperation on behalf of Polish Investment and Trade Agency (Marcin Zieniewicz), Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy (Marcin Chruściel), Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (Karol Tofil), representatives from Ukrainian and Polish engineering companies in an online webinar format.
The moderator of the meeting was Adam Białachowski, Board Representative of ZOPI for Ukraine’s reconstruction. His role was far from coincidental—Adam has been a long-time partner of ICEG, and through his strategic business approach and consistent efforts, his engineering company B-ACT S.A. has successfully established itself in the Ukrainian market. Over the years, B-ACT S.A. has opened three regional offices across Ukraine and earned a reputation as a reliable and successful player.
In his opening speech, Oleksandr Nepomnyashchyy, President of ICEG, Professor, Doctor of Sciences, and Merited Builder of Ukraine, encouraged foreign partners to develop their business in the Ukrainian market: “During our many meetings, we strongly recommend that companies interested in participating in Ukraine’s reconstruction begin their market entry now, without waiting for the war with Russia to end.”
The discussions focused on key aspects of cooperation in the construction sector, including:
In the second part of the webinar, participants explored real-world experiences of Polish and Ukrainian companies already engaged in reconstruction efforts, covering:
This webinar series will continue this summer, as a deeper understanding of the market will help Polish partners adapt more effectively to challenges and opportunities in Ukraine while opening broader business development prospects.
