The team of the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine held a meeting with high-ranking officials and business representatives of the Republic of Korea, where they presented key priorities in the reconstruction of Ukraine in 2023, and discussed possible areas for cooperation both on the governmental and community level, as well as joined training of specialists for the needs of reconstruction in Ukraine.
As a result of the meeting, the parties signed a five-year Memorandum on strengthening cooperation in the field of reconstruction of Ukraine.
The document specifies the areas of joint work as follows:
Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development commented: “The Memorandum … initiates systematic bilateral cooperation in the field of reconstruction. Ukraine is interested both in the exchange of experience and expertise and in the direct participation of the Government and private companies of the Republic of Korea in reconstruction projects as early as 2023.
For our part, we offer transparent procedures, global management standards and digital tools, as well as comprehensive support from the state”.
