It is a well-known fact that capacities of the construction industry can be effectively used to solve organizational issues.
The Port of Kherson is an important component of the Ukrainian logistical system. It is one of the first infrastructural facilities granted as a concession in Ukraine. After the region was occupied and the port was idle for a long time, representatives of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories and the concessionaire sat down to talk to find new solutions and restart the project. For more information, please go to the Ministry’s website.
“It is clear that after reaching certain agreement, port reconstruction measures are going to follow. I have to admit that the regulatory framework of port construction in this country cannot be considered well-developed, and the existing regulations need updating. However, relevance of the facilities requires developing urgent technical solutions, and openness of our European partners enables their substantiation. Experts in port structure design should follow up on the talks and get prepared to forge them in metal, as they say,” commented ICEG President Oleksandr Nepomnyashchyy.
