Consulting Engineers’ Association (FRI), Norway, and Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild (ICEG) signed the Memorandum of Understanding aimed at the establishment of foundation for zooming in opportunities for effective collaboration of Norwegian and Ukrainian companies.
The Parties undertook to encourage and develop mutual contacts of their members and continue mutual consultations to strengthen relations between them.
As members of the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA), RIF and ICEG will develop and support joint initiatives held under EFCA framework, confirm their commitment to join their efforts in searching for ways to improve cutting-edge engineering methodological practices.
“First of all, our hearts and thoughts goes to you and Ukrainian people and what you are going through. We see now that Russian warfare not only kills innocent people, but has also cynically destroyed important parts of your infrastructure. I was therefore glad to hear the announcement this week from the Norwegian government that Norway also is sending bridges in order to get food, water and medicine and wounded Ukrainians to hospitals”, says Liv Kari Skudal Hansteen, RIF Administrative Director/CEO. “RIF will be honoured have a “Memorandum of Understanding”.
The MoU was signed by Oleksandr Nepomnyashchyy, ICEG President, and Grethe Bergly, RIF President.
