On January 21, 2026, Dnipro city hosted a working meeting of design organizations representatives from Dnipropetrovsk region, initiated by the National Union of Design Trade (NUDT). The discussion focused on the quality of design documentation, coordination of market players, and pricing for design work.
The participants emphasized that high-quality design documentation directly impacts compliance with the main requirements for buildings and structures, construction safety, cost of work, and level of trust from clients. In this context, the collective influence capacity is viewed as a mechanism that enables raising the professional level of organizations and responsibility of each participant.
Viktor Leshchynskyi, President of NUDT, noted that uniting design companies around common rules, standards, and decision-making procedures allows for gradual improvement in the quality of design solutions and avoidance of systemic errors that the industry encounters daily, particularly at the regional level.
The meeting also addressed outdated approaches to pricing for design work, which do not always align with current economic conditions and create additional difficulties for both designers and clients.
ICEG supports the initiatives aimed at developing the internal market regulation and improving the quality of design documentation. This helps design organizations work responsibly and builds trust within the professional community.
Such working meetings promote open professional dialogue and help shape a shared vision of further development of design activities during recovery of this country.
