The winter stepped aside but left its marks on Ukrainian roads – cracks and pits have covered nearly each kilometer. Every ride turns into a little challenge. Today, the roads obviously need attention, repair and a clear action plan to make the traffic safer and more comfortable for everyone.

As estimated by the government, UAH 52 billion is currently needed to repair the public roads. This amount was mentioned by President Zelenskyy at the March 5 meeting with the government.

To begin the repair season, the Cabinet of Ministers has earmarked UAH 12.6 billion for the development and maintenance of the road network. On March 1, scheduled repairs began on priority sections. The first stage includes main roads where professional teams are working to renew the pavement and enhance its performance.

This year’s work is a chance to make the roads safer and more comfortable, not just mend them. Every kilometer of the renovated pavement means less pits, smoother driving, and comfortable travel for all.

Although it is big money and the scope of work is tremendous, the most important thing is that every day of repairing brings closer the day when Ukrainian roads become what they must be, i. e. comfortable, safe, and reliable for all. Owing to the expertise and team work of Ukrainian engineers and builders, the way to perfect roads is gradually leading to high-quality and comfort roads for everyone.

So go ahead, to comfortable driving and good spirits at every kilometer!
