April 20, 2026

Dear colleagues and partners, there is important news for you.
On June 25-26, Gdansk is hosting the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026) co-organized by Poland and Ukraine. The event is currently viewed as one of the leading international platforms to shift the support of our country to the practical domain through attracting viable investment, launching long-term projects, and making holistic economic decisions.
The conference will focus on the sectors most affected by Russian aggression, including energy, critical infrastructure, and logistics. In addition, a totally new feature will be presented during this year’s URC, which is a security and defense dimension. This gives a significant signal to partners, meaning that Ukraine’s recovery is no longer viewed separately from its resilience and infrastructure protection.
URC 2026 will become a platform where governments, IFIs, and private businesses will move from though to action. The spotlight will be turned on the formation of “bankable projects,” i. e. the projects that are prepared to be funded, have a distinct structure, predictable risks, and clear economy.
The conference agenda will focus on five thematic dimensions. The business dimension will cover mobilizing investment and boosting the manufacturing, while human dimension will include issues of healthcare, education, and reintegration of Ukrainians. Quite a lot of attention will be given to the local and regional development, ranging from the housing construction to establishing decentralized system in communities. A separate dimension will be dedicated to the European integration that provides for alignment of our regulations with the EU market. And last but not least, the security and defense dimension where infrastructure protection and newest defense technologies will be discussed.
The full URC 2026 program will be published soon, with online livestreaming available for remote participation. Please read more on the official website: www.urc-international.com
We do believe that this conference will open a new bright chapter for our country. We wish every participant to find not just partners but true soulmates. May all bold plans turn into strong walls and cozy homes in our peaceful towns. We are certain that Gdansk will bring good news and strengthen our shared confidence in the future that we are building together.
