Ukraine Recovery Conference – URC2024, an international conference for reconstruction of Ukraine which gathered leaders of a number of countries, representatives of international organizations, companies, and NGOs to discuss approaches to Ukraine recovery after the Russian invasion is being the focus of attention in the Ukrainian engineering community.

URC2024 is another high-profile annual event dedicated to a speedy recovery and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine which have been held from the onset of Russian all-out war of aggression against Ukraine.

This year, the spotlight is not only on recovery and reconstruction but also reform and modernization of Ukraine.

Principal goals of URC2024 are:

• Mobilizing the financial support: engaging international investors and donors to finance Ukraine recovery projects;
• Developing the recovery strategies: identifying effective ways of reconstruction of destroyed regions and supporting the war-affected communities;
• Supporting the reforms: facilitating the implementation of key reforms in the fields of justice, combatting the corruption, decentralization, and other essential sectors;
• Strengthening the international cooperation: establishing platforms for cooperation between the Ukrainian government and international organizations including the EU, UN, World Bank, and IMF.
