Ukraine to receive EUR 134 m from EIB for key transport routes modernization

April 15, 2026

The Ukrainian president has signed the law on ratifying the agreement with the European Investment Bank to allocate EUR 134 million for the road network development. The Transport Networks Recovery project is to become part of a larger initiative, Solidarity Paths, that will help better connect the Ukrainian and European routes.

This is especially important nowadays as land routes to Poland and Romania have become the major ways to export our products. The funds will be used to repair strategic highways, upgrade checkpoints, and rehabilitate the national importance roads that have recently been affected the most.

The support is part of a large EU strategic aid. The EU confirmed provision of EUR 90 billion loan to Ukraine. Despite all negotiation obstacles, European partners stress that financing the reconstruction remains their unwavering priority.

This project is of professional interest to us in a way that it opens opportunities for independent engineering support. This will enable to introduce modern standards of administration to make each renovated facility meet the highest requirements of quality, reliability, and transparency.

ICEG’s team truly believes that every repaired section is not just about asphalt and concrete but primarily a safe way home for millions of Ukrainians. We believe that these roads will unite families, bring us closer to victory, and serve as a reliable basis for a new life in the home land.
