From the first days of the full-scale Russian war against Ukraine, consulting engineers and other representatives of the professional community, together with state-run institutions and local self-governance bodies, have been working on reconstruction of damaged and destroyed facilities.
We wrote earlier about our experts contributing to the examination of buildings and structures to decide on their possible further operation, reconstruction, or demolition. Our colleagues have made a significant contribution at all other stages of project implementation for reconstruction of critical infrastructure facilities and housing, primarily in frontline areas and settlements that suffered occupation. Training events and advisory services are also much needed today.
Oleh Vasenov, consulting engineer, head of ICEG’s professional ethics commission, has received a Commendation from the Headquarters for Capital Construction and Reconstruction, State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
