A large-scale international conference, the Ukrainian Israeli Innovation Summit (UIIS), dedicated to the study of Israel’s successful experience in the field of security and the possibilities of its implementation in Ukraine, was held on December 14, 2022 in Warsaw. This year it took place in an extended format, UIIS2022.WARSAW, and turned into a Polish-Ukrainian-Israeli technology forum for international dialogue in an era of high risks. The event served as a platform for the exchange of expert opinions on the development of a long-term strategy for the development of Ukraine based on Israel’s unique technological experience.
For the first time since 2018, the organizers, the Global Israeli Initiative held a summit not in Kyiv.
Officials of Ukraine, Israel, Poland, representatives of leading technology companies, investment and venture funds, public figures joined the event. The event took place with the support of the Embassy of Israel in Ukraine.
The Ambassador of Israel to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky, said during his speech: “I am sure that our knowledge, our experience and our technologies will be needed in post-war Ukraine. Israel can assist Ukraine to build an “Economic Iron Dome” after the war.”
Also he summarized that in coordination with the Ukrainian authorities Israel can identify specific needs and provide tailor-made Israeli solutions and technologies in the areas of Health, Water and agriculture, Housing and infrastructure, Security, resilience and Education.
