EFCA GAM & Conference 2024, an annual conference of the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations has begun today in Madrid, Spain.

This year’s meeting is focused on a wide range of environmental issues from strategies to mitigate the climate change impact on oceans to the role of water-based renewable energy sources. They will also be discussing the future EU Blue Deal and role of consulting engineers in the clean energy generation. The agenda includes sessions and discussions moderated by industry experts, policymakers, and stakeholders.

The Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild’s delegation got involved in the dialog shaping up the future European industry of engineering consultancy and identifying its part in resolving the environmental emergencies. These issues are quite relevant for Ukraine in the context of losses inflicted on the environment by the Russian aggression.

As a reminder: Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild is a member of EFCA since 2017. ICEG is actively involved in EFCA events, including those dedicated to supporting Ukraine during the Russian war of aggression. Specifically, last year, ICEG’s delegation led by President Oleksandr Nepomnyashchyy took part in the international conference organized by EFCA and OICE, the Italian Association of Consulting Engineers.
