In July 2023, the INTERSTATE CONSULTANTS ENGINEERS GUILD, represented by its President Oleksandr Nepomnyashchyy, and the EDITОRIAL OFFICE OF LABOUR PROTECTION MAGAZINE, represented by Editor-in-Chief Dmytro Matviychuk, in the presence of Dmytro Barzylovych, ICEG Vice-President, and Volodymyr Pukas, Chairman of the ICEG Expert Board on Health, Safety and Environment, signed the Memorandum on cooperation and partnership in the field of occupational health and safety.

By signing the Memorandum, the parties have confirmed their intention to focus their efforts, in particular, on effective cooperation in relation to as follows:

– promoting prestige of the profession and the level of qualification of health and safety coordinators and consulting engineers, exchanging experience and implementing the latest world practices and principles of self-governance in the engineering environment;

– informing state and local self-government bodies about possible signs of corruption or improper performance of duties regarding Health, Safety and Environment by officials and employees during the construction of facilities;

– initiating and participating in the development and implementation of national, local, regional programs and projects related to construction;

– participating in the implementation of regulatory policy in the field of state supervision (control) on Health, Safety and Environment in economic activity, etc.
