As part of the project “Parliament and Citizens: Open Dialogue in the Time of War”, public online consultation is held on the topic “Improving the mechanism for Ukrainian citizens to receive compensation for housing damaged and destroyed as a result of Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.”
The Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the Organization of State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development and Urban Planning invites to the public consultation citizens, legal entities whose housing was damaged or destroyed as a result of the war, people’s deputies, representatives of ministries, service providers who are involved in the compensation mechanism, representatives of public organizations and other specialists and experts on the above issues.
The first public consultation will start at 16:00 on 20 September.
According to the organizers, participants who currently live in the Northern regions of Ukraine and have any damaged property, or those whose property located in this region has been damaged, but they currently live as IDPs in another region or abroad, can join the first consultation. Residents of Western regions are also invited to contribute. Participants from other regions will be invited to the next two sessions.
