The portal Decentralization.ua has published a new article called “When a project becomes unmanageable: how the cost in growing during the implementation.”

The material touches upon the problems communities and project owners are facing after the construction or reconstruction is launched. It is about revisions, review of cost estimates, change of technical solutions, and shifted deadlines of work delivery.

The article looks into practical examples across Ukraine and the reasons why manageability is lost as early as at the preparation stage or during the work execution.

ICEG notes that the modern-day rebuilding is becoming more complicated. That is why it is increasingly important to ensure the preparation quality, process coordination, and ability to treat a project as a holistic system.
